If your on Virgin can cancel monthly. The schedule for rest of December looks very poor.

I did think that December was an odd time to launch a boxing PPV channel, 2 weeks in and everyone is skint for Christmas and no fights are on.

This 'dondada' chap doesn't seem like a real boxing fan to me.

And how can you think that WWE rips off its fans? They know exactly what they get - the best guaranteed to fight the best week in week out and then for the PPV's the schedule is announced and stuck to and fans are guaranteed 3-4 hours of entertainment.

What do we get with PPV? Hopkins and Dawson dancing around for 5 minutes before falling over. OK, that's in the States, but there is so much boxing could learn from WWE in terms of entertainment, it's embarrassing.

The second last PPV we had was Groves v Degale and supposedly Cleverly v Braehmer, but that fell apart 2 days before the fight and we had the unedifying attempts of Bomber to lose more weight than was healthy and press conferences to sell a fight that was never going to happen and some unknown eastern european turning up at the last minute. Braehmer was never going to fight on that card, Bellew was never going to make weight, yet it's sold to us as a £15 ppv because we might have turned our noses up at Clev v Kuziemski.

Look like the US NYE card has been pulled too. Not allegedly's fault, but not helping the December schedule (or lack of one)

I think you have to accept cancellations as part of the sport but totally agree with the above. Poor decisions are a bit different but sometimes you just know they are itching to stop a guy who has caused problems for a prospect.

The Mayweather-Ortiz figth might have been the worst though. That really was like a WWF ending.

Wasn't the Liverpool show the DeGale and BJ Saunders show. That one's been canned.

What really gets my goat is the difference in treatment of subscibers pre and post encryption.

During those heady days when allegedly was free and there were two cards a week, we were being bombarded with marketing material telling us how much we'd be missing out if we don't subscribe and there seemed to be clarifications and updates on the schedule on almost a daily basis. Communication was clearly at the forefront.

Since encryption? Nothing. We've had the 9th December card changed (Groves "injury") and then cancelled and we are left with a single card for the rest of the month, proividing a total of 3 cards for December, and not the 8 that were being bandied about. But what really irks, is that there has been nothing from allegedly. I thought we'd be getting weekly FWarren newsletters? But the very least that should happen is that the company that was so quick to insult us for doubting the future provision on the channel could publically announce that the card is off - direct to its subscriber base, and provide reassurance over future fights, rather than us having to find out through Twitter and the Boxrec forum.

I wrote my subs off as an affordable loss in the event that the whole venture dies on its arse, and while I don't like to gloat about being proved correct, my fears over transparency and communication when it comes to "bad news" have been realised within a week of encryption. I am longing for the days that Boxchat and Buncey come on here and tell me I know nothing!

the words 'conspicuous' and 'absence' come to mind.

all very well the two of them coming on to be snide, or to drum up business for their latest commercial venture, or to deride people for ignoring same, but when there are questions to be answered....

I'm not surprised at all. I'm more surprised that it's causing a surprise. There is a saying relating to leopards with acne that would seem relevant here. In the last 6 or 7 years, I’ve lost well over 6 months worth of subs when I’ve had tickets to events which officially changed weeks after rumours appeared on here, but usually just days before the event. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice….

Oh indeed. I'm disappointed, but not in the slightest bit surprised. When I paid my money, I did so reasoning that as a paying customer, it gave me the right to comment on the service provided.

To a degree, but there are some highly litigious people who read these pages and so i would urge you to be very careful in how you seek to exercise that right to comment.

I called it at the end of November but it was obvious they couldn't survive without bringing in international cards. Had they snapped up the Kameda card on Wednesday they'd have had SOMETHING but instead it's going down the crapper. I'm sorry for all the folks who paid into this crap.

Bunce...you should be ashamed.

What a load of crap. How can you judge six months on two weeks?
Why not criticise Sky for Klitschko and Nigel Wright pulling out?
Fights fall apart, it's the nature of the business. And with Sky having snapped up a lot of the big cards this month, plus Christmas, there was less available to go around.
