Are they going to be showing their paying punters anything worthwhile?

I know its not likely, but those that have subscribed (I'm in!) need answers - not from posters, but from people involved at allegedly. Is there going to be anything to replace it?

They STARTED using this bill as a campaign to get subscribers on their facebook only YESTERDAY! Subscribers name in the draw to win tickets (which might say something about why the bill is off).

This scenario is exactly why I wud rather pay on the weekly or for two weeks at a time so im not paying for a boxing channel which doesnt have any live fights for a fortnight now.

I saw this thread and thought it would be about Steve Gerrard.

Feel sorry for the boxers... Training hard for the past 6-8 weeks trying to get sharp and make weight. FW then calls the show off with 3 days notice... I reckon some of them would have been counting on that money for xmas :witzend:

I'm confused. Is this the show that was originally earmarked for excel? There is a show taking place on the 16th. Is it being delayed a week?

It's a pity that this news wasn't capable of release until after the pay-wall descended. Obviously sometimes these things happened and it can't be helped, it's just a shame.

Any reason given yet?

I can't believe all you proper fans complaining on here about allegedly. Its going to be the saviour of boxing. Just look at the schedule for January - Williams v Conquest and Degale v TBA and a whole host of TBA v TBA. That's an easy £10 of anyones money.

I'm in and proud.

Maybe FW was hoping to flog enough of those inflatable sparring partners he was advertising to pay for it?

The card was awful and the scousers on the card were all likely to fight stiffs so ticket sales and interest in general was probably none existant.
Would be suprised if they sold more than 2 thousand tickets.

With hindsight, last night's Bunce show made no reference to any upcoming b o x n a t i o n fights, it was a very enjoyable seventies throwback show but it was also the first show that didn't preview upcoming action. I'd have been an avid armchair viewer but I wouldn't have paid for a ticket to attend, it looked poor as an event at a big arena...

I believe they might be showing the Golovkin bill from Germany instead on Friday.
They also have the Selby-Simpson fight next week and the Tavoris Cloud and Rigondeaux bill on New Year's Eve

I heard a rumour they might be showing a cracking little series of infomercials including one where Tommy Walsh - of Ground Force fame - is launching a brand new product that makes creosoting fencing panels as easy as 1, 2, 3; and another where a Canadian geezer, with a number of fraud convictions under his belt, 'guarantees' to give you a 'Mega Memory' for three easy payments of just £199 or your money back (subject to terms and conditions).

I'd rather watch that than a re-run of Norton-Williams

Isn't the Golovkin fight part of the Wlad bill - so Sky might have first refusal? No mention of either of the other bills on the allegedly website, but as a subscriber it would be good to get the Cloud/Rigo fights.

Agree with the poster who suggests that poor ticket sales may have had an impact - why would the locals want to turn out in great numbers at this time of the year to watch a mediocre main event, headlined by a London lad, supported by some local fighters against TBA?
