Manchester Fight Night.

Post by stujones »

Just thinking back to that Channel M programming, a great weekend for two of the regularly featured fighters. I think Murray should be contented with a draw in Germany and Brian Rose winning the British title.

I was introduced to both boxers through watching it and it was great to see them in the big fights and doing so well.

Really missed channel M, great program, only wish they had one in the midlands, great seeing prospects on the way up.

The programme was like something cobbled together by a schoolboy on a budget of about a tenner, and that Barney was a bit of a div - but I used to like it though ! :TU:

That was the secondsout show wasn't it? I didn't watch much of that, but used to like the Manchester Fight Night - hour long show from Steve Wood bills.

Far from perfect coverage, but better than nowt - got to learn alot about some of the up and coming manchester based fighters.

Brian Rose and Martin Murray regularly featured.
