How about this issue?
How about a USA Boxing LBC official who charges someone (who doesnt know better) 2,000 dollars to make matches for an amateur show fundraiser they are doing?? Any thoughts????

Totally against USAB rules. You could file a grievance, if you so desire. How about a USA Boxing LBC official who charges someone (who doesnt know better) 2,000 dollars to make matches for an amateur show fundraiser they are doing?? Any thoughts????

Well, LARRY PELLETIER did that with the U.S. Marine show he did last year...and our USA Boxing President ROLAND ROY just this morning tried to (aggressively) talk the Marine guy out of using me to make matches and be involved with the show they plan on doing here because I speak up and tell these guys what our LBC is doing to them year after year...but the scam is up because I'm not going anywhere...the days of robbing these guys is over...

Who's paying the money? The US Marines? Who is the representative for the US Marine Team. We were looking at looking at bringing them to our LBC but we don't have 2,000 for match making if that's what they are doing there.

Re: How about this issue?
I guess my question is: where is the money going? If its going back into the LBC and being spent on the kids then isnt that good?
There are a lot of 3rd party charity events that use our USA Boxing sanction to donate shit loads of money to other charities. The Lowell Sun Charities raises a bunch of money for outside charities and has only paid a small sanctioning fee to the lbc.
We are a non-profit organization too; and a struggling one at that.

There is no reason for you NOT to have the Marine boxers. It is against USAB's rules to charge for matchmaking. It appears that Connecticut is but that's an issue with them, not a widespread happening. I'm sure Jesse Revelo will happily bring a team - they need the experience, too.
