Great watch really enjoyed it, Makes me want to go watch your earlier fights especially the jones fights they looked like crackers from the clips!
Re: Jamie Moore Documentary - Full Version
enjoyed that, a brave, wise and correct decision.
You still managed to have a successful career and done things in boxing which others could only dream about.

Finished the whole thing- great tribute to a great British fighter. That world title fight means nothing when you consider he was a multiple British, commonwealth and European champion!
Highly recommended

It's a really excellent watch, remembered the Jones fights like they were yesterday. Has this been made for commercial release, Sky Sports or just as a promotion for Jamie's career outside boxing?

Just to tell my story so that people see what we have to go through from a fighters perspective and not just on fight night.Newport Daz wrote:It's a really excellent watch, remembered the Jones fights like they were yesterday. It also shows the importance and benefits of the brainscans etc.
If and when things are done properly it makes boxing a much safer sport.
Sadly some people wouldnt be wise enough or brave enough to make the decision to hang up the gloves at the right time.
Jamie Moore never got the chance of a world title opportunity but he gained the respect of his opponents and the british boxing fans.
That alone is a massive achievement.

Fantastic documentary about a fantastic fella. Dale Hooker deserves a lot of credit aswell, that was a top notch bit of film-making. I would love to see this on Sky Sports so that a wider range of sports fans can appreciate it.

Re: Jamie Moore Documentary - Full Version
The fact you went to visit Mathew Macklin in the immediate aftermath of such an astonishing fight speaks volume's for your character. most would have gone celebrating. I also love how fighters give their little insights into how it is in the ring (when they're honest of course). One example is Ryan Rhodes saying he winked and smiled at Dave Coldwell and next thing Jamie Hit him. If any fighter in this country deserves to be able to call himself a world champ its mooresy. We have some fighters who have won WBF, and WBU's able to proclaim that to their locals but none achieved the respect moore did. Would have been great to see him have a career swansong in prizefighter, get the 32k and go out on a high but then it wouldnt end there as there would be a chance of more glory so probs the right decision made. Brilliant watch
Jamie, how difficult was it for you to make the weight in the end and from what time onwards had it become really gruelling?
