I think you fighting Ashley would be better to wait anyway, you get a few column inches in the papers, so the fight could get a good build-up and earn you both a few more penniescurtis wood wrote:i did get the call but my hand is banged up and i wouldnt want to take the fight with 1 hand, also im 10st 10 and wouldnt want to crash the weight off and not be able to do myself justice, hope nigel wright is ok gutted for him :(

Re: wright v theophane off
Poor bill now. Such a shame. Tickets gone well but be half empty as wright fans simply won't show. Another blow for sky. Gutted.

Sky could not give a shit about this bill they interested in Khan and were hying Wlad fight not this bill. I am surprised its still being shown by them.TheGoods wrote:Poor bill now. Such a shame. Tickets gone well but be half empty as wright fans simply won't show. Another blow for sky. Gutted.
Re: wright v theophane off
To be fair to Sky, they'd struggle to drum up much interest in this card. Neither Theophane nor Wright are well known outside boxing circles and while Edwards v Bayaar could be very entertaining, they're hardly going to be big draws.leforge wrote:Sky could not give a shit about this bill they interested in Khan and were hying Wlad fight not this bill. Re: wright v theophane off
True but the way some on here think all boxing should be shown is the general sports fan not interested in these fights. Hence why allegedly not going to work.earsjohn wrote:To be fair to Sky, they'd struggle to drum up much interest in this card.
