I went to the show last night in Randwick, very entertaining. It was a shame there was only two pro fights, but both were goodies. Justin Kallu had great support for his debut but was caught by a big right hand mid-way through the second and seemed to have done well to make it through the round but was stopped in his corner at the end of the round. Incredibly his opponent Jody Allen sat behind me on the bus on the way back to the city (guess the kiwi was mean't to lose).

The main event was a scrappy but entertaining fight for the NSW Super-middleweight title won over eight rounds by Daniel Pawsey, I think there was officially two knockdowns and a standing eight but could easily have been five, not really sure what the ref was doing.

The undercard was three amateur fights and strangely three exibition fights all entertaining especially the female bout. The stand-out was Nathan Nicoliss who was down as a light welter but looked about middle, he stopped his opponent in the 2nd and looked really good doing so.

Good luck to Allen, but I am a bit surprised that the NSW Authority is allowing a 44 year old to fight. What happened to the no over 35 fighters except in extraordinary circumstances rule?

Clenshaw pulled out abit of a shame because he's got abit of a following, Daniel won pretty easily
