That being said, Price looks to be the live young body in the division and Fury should be fighting him, not these ridiculous opponents. I don't see how Tye Fields can prepare him for the world stage.
totally agree but i think it good that where getting to see more and more of how top british boxers but they need to be quailty oppents.

Price is the best young heavyweight out there and is being brought along just right by end of 2013 price will be ready or will be the new world champion make a note of this from me to you lot out there. You can fight as much as you like but if you are not learning is no go to you. Most of the hard work is done in the gym behind closed doors
Fury will have to fight the winner of the Jan 21 fight in Liverpool or run away there no get out for him from this fight unless he gives up both titles.

It's a fodder fight.

I'm sure it'll pull in plenty of Joe Public given their heights.

Good business move in my opinion.

I'm not complaining. It's good to see him relatively active. Hopefully he has sorted out his problems and comes to the ring in better shape.

I like the fella, he isn't the greatest fighter but he comes to fight and has balls. Right now he is above Price. That can't be argued. Price has to earn his shot and should do against big John.
As for Chisora? Fury beats him 10 times out of 10. Fury has too much work rate for him and del doesn't hit anywhere near as hard as he thinks he does. His power is mid level from what I have seen.

Why not make a fight between Chisora and Price in March if he dosen't get the fight with Vitali Klitshko and then the winner would fight Fury.
If price beats McDermott he is mandatory challenger for the British strap (FACT) all the talk of let him fight chisora first is rubbish the simple fact is that Fury will have to fight price or McDermott to keep the British title.

I do remember Fury saying he wants to keep the British belt out right. That means 3 defences as of yet he hasn't had one defence of the Lonsdale belt. so surely if he keeps to his word and try’s to defend the belt he must meet Price or Big John

I have really been won around by Fury and have respect for the way he has been keeping so busy but if this fight doesn’t happen I for one will step right off the Fury bandwagon :shame: if it does happen and fury beats price (or McDermott again ) I will be one of his biggest advocates
Sounds like someone is scared to match their man against Chisora which is ironic. Fury has gone way above Price and dosen't need him any more and the fight won't happen unless Price beats Chisora and a few others first.
Utter rubbish a few others first did you not grasp what i said in my last comment  Price (if he beats Mcdermott) will be mandatory challanger if Fury vacates the british rather than fight Price THEN ITS AS CLEAR AS DAY that he will have ducked price

It's not a bad fight to gain experience, let's not forget how young Fury is so there's no need to hurl him into European or World title fight within the next year. I actually think he should have 4 or 5 learning fights against a variety of styles this year and bring his weight down by 15lbs+ while he is at it.
