SKY or allegedly Hurry up and get Danny Williams on board

Danny Williams is the man who can take british boxing commentary into the 21st century. He just has a natural style and way with words, as does Audley, thats why these men had such entertaining war of words with herbie hide another guy who can talk.....but seemingly not in english...unlike danny and audley.

Read Dannys retirement interview on the main boxrec page, the guy has an honesty and refreshing nature , and he has already shown he can be a great colour commentator.

I wouldnt put him in the studio with mcguigan and nelson or mccrory cos those guys are bitchy pundits who like to talk over the others and too much company men even mcguigan when it comes down to it although he usually tells it like it is.

No get Danny in as the third commentator with Watt and the other guy...or allegedly put him in with rawlings and mckenzie....either way someone sign up danny!

I don't think anyone THINKS commentators have a free role...I think we all HOPE for honesty in the sport though. We'd rather not be lied to every time a commentator or analyst opened their mouth. It's annoying to be told that mismatches are "good matches" or that someone is the bees knees when you can obviously see they are the ants pants.

He's already done some, I think it was Eurosport. He was very good, and yes, Sky or BN should sign him up.

i felt for the first time in ages the three man commentary team worked on SKY, like it always has in the USA with their teams.
Macklin was there to speak and not to sit quietly or churn gibberish like a bob mee. Macklin blended with Watt and the conversation flowed. Thats what we always lack with 3 man teams in the UK , its so damn formal, two guys speak and the third is bought in for 20 seconds at the end of the round....it should be informal and tehy should be allowed to disagree and pick up things one of them missed. Like the main blow by blow man missed a good shot and macklin reminded him. I could see danny being informal.
