Hilarious.

The hand-picked voluntary actually beating Khan, never even crossed their tiny minds.

Maybe they need to break into his hotel room and plant a contract.

Khan's career is in tatters.

Hardly a career in tatters..
He has GBP firmly behind him, he lost because of the points deductions, it was an exciting fight (i still not been able to find where to watch it) and he wasn't KO'd.

He will pick up another world title belt next year for sure.

..... it did like the breaking into Petersons room and planting a contract though. Kinda making up for stealing the one off the other guy lol

Yes he did but it was supposed to be just a filling in fight while waiting for Mayweather,he can only fight one way and he took his eye off the ball listening to all the leaches that feast off him.

Considering the deal they got Dudey to sign then this is mind boggling. But as its mandatory defence you can't have option, or is there a way round it? Most likely.

Delighted that Peterson will be able to call some of the shots now. Maybe he should signed with Top Rank. Yeowzeers!!!

Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of Khantz

That was my thought when I heard Khan on the radio saying how he wants a rematch - but not in DC

I wouldn't be suprised to see Khan still get the lions share even though he has nothing to offer, that's if Peterson wants to fight him again,he doesn't have to

taken from maxboxing

“The official statement from the Peterson side is simply this: how many young fighters you know in Lamont’s position have fought Timothy Bradley, have fought Victor Ortiz, have fought Victor Cayo and then turn around and fight Amir Khan? Lamont’s never had an easy career. Now, we could’ve taken the path of some of the other fighters coming to get a title, old fighters that’s going out the door or fighters that really shouldn’t be licensed and get these guys titles. But, nah, we lay our heart on the line; we went out there and we fought. So now I think it’s time for us to think about Lamont’s future as far as his daughter is concerned, Lamont’s future as far as himself and his health. It’s a business. Now, we gotta start looking at it that way.”

While many fans (and Khan and Golden Boy) may clamor for an immediate return bout, Peterson and his team will explore all their possibilities

Apparently a rematch has been arranged for 31st March 2012. However, I am awaiting confirmation.

Fair enough. Let them offer Khan peanuts for another fight and when Khan turns it down they can tell the world Khan is ducking them. The irony would be delicious.

Hunter is gonna wring them out for a humungous payday. Or fight a load of bums in DC with their pet referee and cash in that way.

It's quite apparent they only hopped back into bed with Sky cos they reckoned they could float a Mayweather PPV with them.

You watch - the Khans and GBP will likely turn on each other now. They love throwing blame around. How will Khan pay that huge wage bill now for all those hungry leeches, business advisers and fluffers ?

America are loving the fact Peterson is now champ.

That's the first racism accusation I've seen so far in the Khan - Peterson autopsy. Has the poster got form is this an unwarranted accusation?

He certainly was the mandatory and not the "hand picked guy to make Khan look good." How else do you think his purse went from 350K the first time negotiations took place to 650k?

If Khan wants his titles back, he's going to have to pay for the opportunity, especially considering the amount he complained about Peterson pricing himself out first time round.

Good, now lets get Peterson v Bradley II organised, division #1 and #2, a chance for a linear champion, a chance for Peterson to avenge his only loss and a ring title up for grabs...
