WBA junior welterweight champion Amir Khan is laughing it up. He watched Carl Froch lose his undefeated record, and his WBC super middleweight title, to Mikkel Kessler on Saturday night in Denmark. Khan gets his revenge with a few choice words for Froch, who attacked Khan in the British press after Breidis Prescott knocked him out in under a minute in 2008.
"Carl Froch got his ass whooped from an opponent Joe Calzaghe beat with ease. Where will he go from this. We all knew he ain't world class," Khan sounded off on his personal Twitter page. "Carl Froch, poor guy was whooped before he set his dreams in America. Every American promoter hates him and no TV wants him, I hear."
Khan supports every British fighter - except for Froch. He knew the day would come when he would get his revenge to throw some verbal jabs at Froch's first defeat.
"I'm 100% behind British fighters but he just likes to dig at others, [so] now he can have back his own medicine," Khan said.
"I'm an honest guy. I don't like Froch, I thought he was a nice guy till he started trash talking bout me and Calzaghe."
"Froch fans, nothing against you but he digged at me when I was defeated and I always said what goes around comes around
"I rather be K.Od in 50 seconds then bitch slapped around the ring for 12 rounds. What takes more out of the fighter 56sec or 45min of beatin"
"I love it when the haters tweet me, they still call me king, I'm happy with that guys, amirKINGkhan they type, atlest they no who's king hah"
Close topic about carl froch its boring talking about him let alone watching him, froch fans Im sorry to hurt you in anyway ha ha. Have good night
I love all british fighters but the froch fight was boring
Unlike Khan, I think Carl has really matured in the last couple of years and I can't see him demeaning himself by gloating over Khan's latest defeat. Froch is on another level for me as a fighter, irrespective of the outcome of the Ward fight.

Lets also be honest, he was calling for the Calzaghe fight due to wanting his name out there, it's only been the past year that any casual fans have mentioned him and that...that is a tragedy.
I have some serious man-love for Froch but he does dwell on things for far too long (Calzaghe, Kessler scoring, ect). Him and Khan should just not talk about each other - both come across as numpties when trying to slate the other. Needle is only good between fighters who will sort it out in the ring.
Kinda funny when you hear him criticising Froch for calling out Calzaghe, yet ten minutes later he's saying that he can beat Mayweather...... he's as prone to gaffes as Prince Philip.
I don't think Froch will say anything, he'll probably just have a little smile to himself that's all.

Gomez, can Froch make light middle?
agreed, there is a case of one being brought down to the other's level, there, at times.

.
I have not been subject to it, so i would have to agre.
Because from a distance and judging purely by what he has done in the ring, he has delivered more top quality entertainment over the last 2 years than any other British fighter i can remember.

Only trying to get a rise, Gomez. I love Froch as a fighter but there's a big chance that he loses this weekend to cap a miserable year in terms of British world titlists.
No your right - Carl is fighting arguably the best super middle there is on planet Earth. Naturally if it was a hand-picked bum designed to make him look good, then I'd strongly disagree.
Fact it I thought Khan's tweets were rather ironic. It's a shame I couldn't find the one that said "Who is Kesler, neva heard of him" which was a blinder given this weekend's turn of events.

Carl Frotch hasn't stopped anyone since 2009, which i find amazing as he looked like a real puncher before that.
No need to wonder what he'd say, courtesy of Daily Star:

He was moving too much at times and I think he ran out of gas a little bit and when he held his feet, he held them for too long."
He added: "But Khan is young, he's fit and strong, and mentally determined. I think he's got the rematch so he'll get another chance to put that right."

The classy, dignified response I expected. I think his comments flatter Amir "Tomato" Khan.
why dig out all this anti Khan stuff Gomez? This is old and pointless.
Let's just get behind Carl Froch and hopefully cheer him onto a great victory at the weekend.

Khans prediction for Ward-Froch Amir Khan, THE RING's No. 3-rated junior welterweight and former IBF/WBA beltholder
Carl Froch W 12 Andre Ward: Carl Froch wins this fight in my eyes. He's physically stronger, and he hits harder.
And when he catches Andre Ward, I think that he will hurt Ward and put him on the back foot.
Froch knows that this is a big fight. Froch knows that he needs to win this fight, so I think that he will want this fight
more than anyone. So I think that he wins by a 12-round decision or a late-round knockout.

So, on Froch's facebook page he was saying Khan got robbed and the ref was a disgrace. I was disappointed when I read it 'cos I thought Carl would tell it like it is. Makes me think it's not Carl himself writing the stuff on Facebook.
