Just watched the first programme on the super 6 finale showcasing Andre Ward's journey to the final.
thought I'd say something didn't acure to me at the time of watching any of Wards fights but did while watching the preview is that although Ward looks a very good boxer he is also very crafty in getting away with fouls like using the head, the elbow, low blows and holding.
I hope Froch has taken note and either gives as good back or has worked out ways of avoiding it.

Given the way refs have recently handled the Chisora and Khan fights, hopefully Froch will get a decent one like Smoger or Bayliss. Cortez is too biased so don't want him and Laurence Cole and Russel Mora are plain rubbish. On the ringside report Froch was fully aware of his dirty tactics, he just needs a ref to treat them both fairly. Ward has got away with far, far too much so far. Showtime seem desperate for an American winner.

Please no Cortez!
On the other hand though I don't think it will matter, Froch just needs to either what to do to avoid the dirty tactics or what to get away with himself.
I didn't realise just how much Kessler got head butted, I thought he was just making a big deal of it at the time and how much holding did he get away with against Green? Although Green was never going to win.

If Ward fouls Froch, he will just foul him back. He said in an interview that after getting a low blow from Johnson (I think it was) the next shot he threw was a low bow.

I'm sure today Robert McCracken said Smoger was the ref.

Good news for Carl if it is as Smoger likes to give a fighter every chance to survive - no pitty patty stoppages.ed robinson wrote:I'm sure today Robert McCracken said Smoger was the ref.
