Dont know how you got Macklin gave a better performance, look at macklins face after the fight and look at murrays then look at sturms after both, I thoght the macklin fight was more entertaining but there was no method to the madness, he was jus goin hell for leather, Murray boxed better imo and the last minute of round 12 cost him the fight in my eyes.

Fair enough but i cant see how macklin performed better, i know im biased being from st.helens. But Although macklins fight was entertaining i dont think he boxed better.

Look at Vitali's face after the lennox lewis fight, he was ahead on points when it was stopped but that one slicing shot from lennox had made a mess of his face. Just 'cos your face is in better nick it doesn't mean your winning. See also any of Hattons fights :)

Murrays style was certainly prettier on the eye than Macklins 'hell for leather' tactic but wasn't as effective imo.
