At this point in the season Schmeling has no choice but to take the biggest fights possible.

You like me because I have gained your respect by way of an exemplory record. And I am telling Corbett that he must "work his way" up to Bowe VIA a return match with Norton (which Corbett will win)......so help me get this Norton fight by advising Crease to stop running. Once you are on the record as advising Crease to take the proper course of action, you will earn access to the GoldenBuzz Galaxy of Boxing stars, and we will be happy to oblige.

THE ROCK NEVER "declines".....however THE ROCK put out the call to everyone, and Max Schmeling answered first.

So Liston will have to wait for a his personal designer pummeling until another time.

To be fair Buzz, if you check, within this thread, you will see Liston asked first for a shot at Marciano, before Schmelling even entered the equation.

However 'tis no bother, Liston can put off his impending pounding until a later date, seeing as the Rock is keen to engage Schmelling, this week.

Not that Sonny is bitter or anything. He likes having more teeth :D
