I've only seen dirty dancing , mannequin and deadmans shoes. It goes without saying that shoes is the least attractive film of the three. I like the concept of mannequin it's a beautiful story and I myself often wonder what it would be like to have sex with a doll. Obvs dirty dancing is a great film ... But I suppose a crocosarus does look like a giant log so I guess he is a bit wooden in that one

Easily mistaken for a documentary, this film follows a band of intrepid heroes -- an oceanic sound engineer (played by Jaleel White, yup, "Urkel") who knows about sharks, a drunken hunter who knows about crocodiles, and an uptight FBI agent who is also a helicopter pilot and wears a tight tank top -- as they chase the two monsters around the globe.

The plot is straightforward; while mining diamonds in the Congo, workers unleash a giant crocodile. Meanwhile, the Mega Shark has returned and apparently finds crocodile eggs indescribably delicious. Thus, the tension between the two beasts. The top-of-the-line special effects will blow your mind as we follow the story from Miami Beach to Orlando to California to the Panama Canal. The Mega Shark is up to its old tricks (eating boats, jumping out of the water to attack planes, etc) and the Crocosaurus will live in your nightmares as you watch it trample through cities.

I am certain this film is 100% scientifically accurate, and should be required viewing for anybody who enjoys good, mindless fun and doesn't take things too seriously!

Dead man's shoes is ok, but woefully over-rated, the fact that the whole second half of the film relies on the baddies coming home and having a drug-spiked brew separates it from The Usual Suspects at the drop of a tea bag.

And not one of you dudes can refute that. It's a pathetic plot conceit. Let's drug the kettle and hope they come home thirsty. For a hot drink. Tsk. And yet it's Shane Meadow's best film. Quite the resume...

Dead Man's Shoes is a brilliant film. Jeffro, you're wrong, so wrong.

Crazy that Gazza can turn down interviews. Of all the requests I’ve put out I can count on one hand the people who either say ‘No’ or in one case require a fee. I applied to interview Lennox Lewis earlier this year, a single email was sent, his people kept in constant touch and got the big man to phone me on my home line. And he’s Lennox, everyone else ain’t.

Gary Stretch is a lovely bloke. He rang me out of the blue to offer me an interview at a London Hotel last year. There were birds and beers on the menu too.

Unfortunately, It would have meant having to sit through 'The Heavy'.

You would have been refused an interview on the grounds that Gary just dosen't want to talk about his boxing career anymore as it was felt that it stopped people from taking his acting career seriously and i totally understand that.

If he thinks the boxing detracts from the acting, maybe he should stop parading around with the WBC International belt like it means something.

Secondly, I think starring in Mega Shark v Crocasaurus detracts more from his acting career than any discussion about his boxing past would do.

A while ago, upon hearing Gary Stretch was in Thailand, I thought I'd track him down for an interview. I didn't have a commission but thought the obvious likes of Boxing News or Monthly might be interested, and/or the newspaper I work for, the Bangkok Post.

Well, he's now an actor and apparently the success of this giddy profession went to his head and he knocked back my interview request, saying he "only speaks to big titles".

No doubt Esquire, GQ, Playboy, the New York Times and the like will be beating down his door to speak to him when they see the kinds of films he doesn't even have the lead role in.

Think you might be taking it a little personal mate. Theres certainly no need to start a thread bashing the guy, it could well have been a jobsworthy assistant who turned you down on his behalf. I do agree though he should have done the interview with you, it would have appealed to boxing news/monthly etc and its all free publicity back home

No, I didn't take it personally at all. I don't think I'm entitled to anything but I just thought it was odd that someone who was a mediocre British champion, widely regarded as one of the worst British world title challengers, and even as a fan in exittored called him, a "jobbing" actor, should think he's too big for major boxing magazines or a national Thai newspaper. In any case that was 2 or 3 years ago and I'd all but forgotten about it 'til I saw his name on the "Mega Shark" poster and it just made me laugh. As for "starting a thread bashing the guy"... well I just offered that little bit of info and didn't prompt anyone else but a whole bunch of different people have pitched in with their own "bashing" unsolicited. I've never met the guy and never had anything to do with him, but there does seem to be a theme even among people who know better than I.

What is suprising about Stretch is that he packed up boxing in 1993 at the age of 25 and didn't have many fights !!

Looking at his record, it seems that he fought very average opposition and then moved up a few levels too many for the Eubank fight. Maybe he quit because he knew he wasn't that great a boxer and wanted to keep his nose relatively straight for a prospective film career !!

I actually completely agree with Stretch's assessment of Eubank's career. Eubank, like Calzaghe after him, did stagnate, largely content to defend a meaningless title against nondescripts and has-beens. Eubank absolutely should have used his title as a launch pad to America for real fights against Toney, Nunn etc. Eubank gets far too much reverence on here considering how much he squandered his talents and defrauded his fans with timewasting performances against pointless opponents.
