This is absolutely disgusting and the most arrogant thing I've ever heard in boxing. In a sport full of arrogance that says something!

As LeedsLad said, Khan is in denial and will prove to be his downfall again. Just because a tight result didn't go his way he has the front to get the result void. No way does this happen otherwise it will open the floodgates for decisions.

And to have the gall to offer Peterson a rematch if he wins the appeal is nothing short of breathtaking.

Since Kotelnik, I've been warming to Khan as a boxer and was starting to dislike him less as a person, but this just puts me back to square one with him.

Khan needs to man up and take it on the chin (if his chin holds up ), get back in the gym and work on what went wrong and come back stronger like he did after Prescott to his credit.

Whatever happens, I really hope he rematches Peterson and gets his ass whooped; only after Peterson has made the little shit squirm for a few fights first.

Good shout but I'd rather see him made to squirm by Peterson. He's like a spoilt brat who's used to getting his own way so it'll teach him a valuable lesson if he can't, and like every other boxer who has tasted defeat, send him back to the gym with some things to work on.

Watching Khan on the news he quite clearly stated that Michael Buffer claims the original scorecards he was handed showed Khan as the winner, that they were taken from him and when returned, Peterson was shown as the winner. That absolutely must be investigated, so in that respect, i dont think Golden Boy and Khan are out of line.

I thought the ref was diabolical, but with the benefit of hindsight, Khan was blatantly pushing, its just none of us are used to seeing anyone being penilised for it. Thats not to say the ref was totally in the right however, i still think he was far to harsh on Khan throughout the fight. Worth a complaint perhaps, but the decision wont be reversed from any wrongdoing on the refs part.

I really dislike the way Golden Boy and Khan talk like Peterson is just a pawn in their game, telling everyone the rematch is a given without ever really consulting Petersons team about it. It almost makes me want Peterson to tell them to eff off and go fight someone else instead.

Oh man, Amir really is on a different planet? His ego has consumed him. When he is KOd in the rematch he'll be claiming a quick count and saying he was about to win by KO.
