Darrin Van Horn
What was Van Horn like as a fighter, getting blown out by Barkley & outboxed by Rosi is bad form, yet beating Holmes and Hines when he did suggests he could fight.
Re: Darrin Van Horn
Van Horn was entertaining to watch. He came to fight and because he was a college frat boy, he got some network TV exposure back in the day when boxing was on free network TV. He only had 3 loses, two of them to Rosi both being 12 rd decisions and getting caught by Barkley was no crime. Barkley was a decorated amateur and was tough. Winning the title against Bam Bam Hines showed he could fight some though he lost the title in his 1st defense as did Hines did who won it from Matthew Hilton. That's boxing. But to answer your question, I enjoyed watching Van Horn box, he stood there and mixed it up.clubberlang wrote:What was Van Horn like as a fighter, getting blown out by Barkley & outboxed by Rosi is bad form, yet beating Holmes and Hines when he did suggests he could fight.
