Froch-Ward card RBR

Post by dookus »

Brook vs Galarza on now, into round 5....Brook looking pretty good, getting clipped a little often but showing some flashes of class, hurting his opponent at least a couple times per round. Galarza out of his depth but giving it a go.

stopped round 5 (a bit prematurely) after a combo drives Galarza back into the ropes...probably could have carried on, but can't see how he could have won from the position he was in. Decent performance from Brook, but needs to tighten up a bit.

oh yes he can, poor kariuki took a shellacking there in round 5, including a 2nd knockdown when the ref forgot that his gumshield had been punched out of his mouth in the 1st knockdown

They just spoke to Steve Smoger and he mixed Jermaine Taylor up with Meldrick Taylor. The main difference for me is Jermaine hasn't released a book with tales of when he did some nice young white birds up the council gritter.

WARD wins easy around 116-112 or by late stoppage on cuts.
