He was an overrated joke. A full bodied welterweight who struggled with average featherweights.

Id like to this it 2, but he has done alot of damage to his body (drink, drug use) there are alot of fresh younger boys around n he's not got youth on side now. When you start fighting for money, n i think thats what he's back for, then your not in it for the right reasons ( as i no). Its about the love of the game (dont think he is eny more). Enyways! Harrison was effective at featherweight with his size and strength. World class? Whilst all the prime names from his division are missing from his record and he was beaten by Medina and (imo) Polo, I don't buy that.

Now, having been out of the ring for so long and probably at a higher weight, I wouldn't back him to win a British title let alone get anywhere close to a World title.

I agree with much of what you've said but Harrison was a brutal and determined fighter. Its hard to imagine that he wouldnt still be able to slaughter a procession of domestic lightweights. Harrison V Murray would be a cracking fight in theory and Harrison at his best was several levels beyond Murray.

It's just such a long lay off, and for whatever reason that doesn't seem to go well for lighter weight boxers, loss of speed is the main problem I see. And Scott was never the fastest to start with.

For sure, but he was brutal and determined against featherweights. A solid fighter whose main strength was his ability to drain for day before weigh ins. Tough bastard definitely but for pure ability, not world class. My main regret was that we didn't see him and Chi.

He was world class, what he was not was Barrera/Morales class. TBH I always thought a large part of his success was down to the fact that he was one of those guys who's brilliant at cutting weight and turning up twice the size of the other guy.
