Martin murray vs...............

Post by matko »

After such a galliant effort in only his 23rd fight when fighting legend Felix Sturm he may now box Andy Lee in USA on St patricks day March who is highly ranked and trained by the great Emmanuel steward

What's the source?

I'm not sure Andy Lee would want this fight to be honest, its one i see him losing. I think Murray is too good for him

Murray's the wrong end of the risk-reward scale for Lee

if Lee is taking a 50-50 type fight it would be one like Macklin with the Paddy's Day angle to sell it in NYC, or whatever.

The source is probably good. Matko trains with Murray.

i believe this. lee needs a good opponent for an HBO undercard, surely, murray fits the bill. makes sense for murray, after proving himself at world class, to take his momentum to a world class US card, headlined by fellow middleweights sergio martinez and matthew macklin. a chance for murray to fight the winner, obviously, if he can make an impression.

Trained in Olivers with Martin from day 1 of Martins pro career. Matt was in Murrays corner in Germany.

I was really impressed with Lee last time out, would be a cracking matchup but I'd rather see Lee vs Macklin, what a scrap that would be.
