I have to question the ambition or bottle of our leading Light heavyweights because we've got a British champion in Peter
Oboh who may be stripped of the tiltle because opponents
cannot be found.
Is it just me, but if Peter Oboh moved on I'm sure there would be
not shortage of boxers at the weight willing to contest this
cherished title?
Sparticus, Peter Haymer, Toney Oakey etc
Neil Simpson and Andrew Lowe are both notable exceptions.
p.s. I'm a bit behind in my Boxing News, so apologies if developments
have happended in the meantime....but I haven't heard of any.
Calling all British Light Heavyweights !

Precisely my thinking. Without wishing to single out Sparticus more than
the others, I recall him boldly stating on BBC TV that he would "have it" with anyone at the weight. Peter Haymer is on a great run of form so surely he must be ready to strike too. Oakey may have lost to Haymer last time out but he got 10 good rounds in and would surely receive board approval if no one else was available.

My First post on this site.....Hey All
Peter Oboh is the top on the I dont want him list.In the gym he looks absoloutly fornicating awful but hes given top cruisers the fits. He is one difficult guy to fight. very very dangerous. It is great to see that he has finally made a name for himself but probably not making the money in a year that he used too. He doesnt put bums on seats all the same he is a good fighter and a lovely respectful lad, its a shame.
