As has been pointed out on this wiki user talk page, according to this poster, the Julio Cesar Chavez vs. Carlos Bryant fight, which was scheduled for ten rounds, was announced for October 19, 1981 at the Auditorio de Tijuana. The other fights mentioned on the poster are:
- Ricardo Varela vs. Angel Hernandez (scheduled for ten rounds)
- Jose Caba vs. Miguel Angel Hernandez (scheduled for ten rounds) and
- Jesus Hernandez vs. Rafael Borrego Chavez (scheduled for ten rounds; this Rafael Chavez?).

Database also lists the Varela - Hernandez fight as occurring the next day on October, 20 1981 in Tijuana. Listed as a W12 for Varela, although the poster indicates the fight was for 10 rounds (Mark Hartman listed as the editor). 
Jose Caba also shows as having fought Miguel Angel Hernandez but not until November 1, 1981 in Tijuana. Matt is the editor and included a note stating 'Bout held in November', which I might assume means was not certain of the specific date. It is the only bout for Tijuana listed for that date.
