nice post again roco. U really are an asset to this forum with your imaginative threads. I dont recall anyone posting a marsh-hatton one before.
Marsh was a very good fighter and he just doesnt get mentioned much even in england, a real shame.
Hatton we know about....he struggled with quality british/irish european level guys like magee and thaxton early on. I presume we r talking hatton 2005 and marsh as a world champ.

Hatton was a good stand up boxer, with stamina and grit. He didnt have much of a dig and people expected joe manley to take him. But he battered manley to defeat in 13 if i am correct? Marsh had a very very vocal and raucous following....much like hatton but in a different era.... I think this will be a pier 6 brawl, with both men going at it at an incredible pace...hatton the aggressor and marsh being forced back and fighting on the back foot. Hatton stops Marsh in 10 ahead on points.

none of these sons of bitches wanted to condescend to discussing Terry Marsh....give him a shot wont you....he always gave others a shot...he gave Frankk Warren a shot...he let Frankk promote him and make him one of his first world champions, put him on the promoting map....that was our Tel....when i was an amateur kid in the late 80's Tel popped in one day and complimented me on my skipping!

Marsh was an underrated fighter. His greatest strength was his stamina which was equal to at the time Hagler's. He would of given any 140 lber in history a good fight. His main weakness was he could cut, and against someone like Hatton that could of been a problem. I can see Marsh sneaking this fight via SD. But I would say Hatton wins 6 or 7 out of 10 with about 3 of those coming by late stoppage and probably due to cuts.

Marsh was very unlucky he got his licence revoked due to epilepsy, which he had through out his whole career anyway. He was on the verge of getting a big money fight with Lloyd Honey and that would of put him on the world map even though he may well of lost that fight, it would of been a cracker.

More people should look up Terry Marsh, as he was one hell of a boxer.
