I was lucky enough to meet Michael shortly after this book was written. I was at a Press Conference with Ricky Hatton when Michael appeared with a few copies of his new book. He signed my copy and we had a good chat. Such a loss to the sport, and indeed the world.

Rest in peace Champ.

It's always sad to hear of the loss of someone who has Boxing running through their veins 24/7. Michael always did his best and will be sadly missed. My thought & prayers are with his loved ones at this difficult time. R.I.P Michael Murray.

Is this true? That is terrible news. I remember him knocking out Kevin McBride. Very sad, he was still a young man.

Its a shame, these are the guys you wanted to do well in the ring. I only ever saw a few of his fights on TV so I didnt know him really but its odd that I never knew him but liked him.

RIP sad loss

Can anyone confirm how Michael Murray died? Like others have said he was still a relatively young man.
