It seems like Cuba literally breeds boxing champions. Look at the surnames on this list Savon, Kindelan, Despaigne, etc.

Cuba's best at 91kg, Lenier Perot, will not be in the Olympics because their #2, Jose Larduet, already qualified. Unless Cuba gives up Larduet's spot and gambles on Perot qualifying in Brazil and doing better at the Olympics. In my opinion, Perot is the better boxer after having watched Perot at the Pan Ams and Larduet at the Worlds.

Cuba also have to decide who goes to the qualifier at Middleweight,either the Pan Am champion Correa or the guy who has beaten him twice in Ramon Luis.

Would love to see these fights. Need to take a trip to Cuba next year. This gots to be an amazing tournament.
