Lovell is a good shout, and Doran ought to be looking at a British title shot after another 1/2 fights...he's 10-0 now

Doran will get exposed if he goes any higher I feel. Extremely fortunate against Maxwell.

Yes he was lucky, can't carry on fighting in that way... will get stopped.

He can box and has a good jab, but gets drawn into a fight, especially when on home turf as he seems so desperate to impress his pals.

I wrote this at the time if you get a second to have a glance:

Agreed Chris. He needs quite a few more fights before being ready for a British title fight. A fight with Bradley Pryce would sell well anywhere in Wales.

I was also there mate, covered it for Boxing News.

Selkirk and Hall would rip right through Doran. His jab will only get him so far in fights as I feel he doesn't have the necessary power to keep those hovering around the top 10 at bay for championship distances.

I was at ryders last fight. Massively impressed. Also look out for Ryan tayler, still finding he's feet in the pros, mark my words. He's a great little fighter.

I'd like to see the winner of that get a fight with Selby, I'd rather that than see a rematch with Smith.

Got good skils but was exposed badly by Luke Robinson on the Ochieng's home show and Robinson is a bit one dimentional. Ochieng he was totaly bullied and out worked by Robinson, seem to crumble a bit, with pressure. Ochieng is fighting in an eliminator for the English title in a few weeks, touch and go if he gets through that, long way to go yet in a hot division, but he has a big promoter so a shot at the British could happen in the future, but it would suprise me if it happened so soon.

I agree, I think he is well overated and well looked after, far too open and his chin seems at bit dodgy, needs another 2 years yet, hot division.
