A friend of mine who has travelled up and down the country as well as to Vegas & Paris for boxing events is running the London Marathon in 2012 for the Royal National Institute for Blind People (RNIB) and as with the majority of people doing this for charity, he is required to raise £1500. My mate has had a degenerative eye condition all of his life and as such he now only has 20% vision at the age of 30 and is night blind.
I'm currently trying to help him reach that target and the next event i have lined up is a racenight in Feb. I'm hoping to get a minimum of £350 at this and so i was really just hoping that some people might have a couple of extra ideas. I'll be putting a some of my sporting memmorabillia up for auction and doing the usual raffle etc.
