Maybe he didn't duck them, but Mike never really wanted any part of guys like Holy and Foreman. By doing this, he incidently gave Saad a reason to jackoff for many years and brought torns and twists in G.I.'s life for as many.

Yes, he fought Dokes in an eliminator. The winner was supposed to get the next shot at Tyson. He was #1 across the board after that fight. It's not like it was forever, but Mike fought Williams and then Douglas. Though they had agreed to fight Holyfield when he lost to Buster.
