What would Khan get from facing Prescott again? I just don't understand why it's ever mentioned, Prescott has always lost against decent opposition since rinsing Khan...Kevin Mitchell, Paul McCloskey, Miguel Vazquez and recently being stopped by Alvarado.
All he'll do is avenge the defeat but it won't make his stock rise at all.

I would like to see this fight, it is still a dangerous fight for Khan who still has a leaky defence and surprisingly weakens in the second half of a fight, despite working with his strength and conditioning guru - Ariza.

This should be a cakewalk for Khan now, he's tightened up a lot since then, and doesnt make as many mistakes.

I guess this is just a keep busy fight that they figure they can sell.

Osc doesn't know what he wants, as usual. Yesterday he was tweeting 'would we like Khan-Mosley in Britain'. Today it'll be something different. Just pay Peterson what he deserves and sort that out before moving on, I reckon.

I agree - although i think Prescott has been badly treated since he beat Khan and would like to see him get another chance ...

Jeff - i know exactly where you're coming from with your analysis of this fight. Khan really wants to prove himself a warrior and definitely takes more shots than he should. If Prescott can summon up another one of them left hooks ...

DLH has been a massive disappointment to me having once thought he really would shake things up for the better as a promoter.

Prescott doesn't deserve another chance at Khan, although he's been harshly treated. I thought he beat McCloskey when they fought last year. He took a good thumping in his last fight though. He looks a bit knackered, and could do with a conditioning coach himself.

Suppose if Khan has two more non-PPV fights then Prescott will be a cheap enough option.

It's a fight that non boxing fans know about, it would get talked about, if he wins all he needs to do is have a rematch with Peterson and it's all perfect again. Assuming he wins of course.

Agreed, it's a big fight for Sky, there's a serious backstory after the gone in sixty seconds debacle. Sports fans would tune in.

Nah mate, word on the street states that DLH prefers Christian Louboutins.

A well worn Mosley would fancy the job I think, Khan doesn't have the spite in his punches of Pacquaio or Mayweather and he's been a bit sloppy of late. It would be a good fight.

Easily winnable fight coming off a (non-controversial) loss and shut a load of people up.

yeah because it's a safer fight for Amir now, bigger, stronger that he has become, he should win it.

still protecting as far as I'm concerned, give us more with Khan, prove his worth!

If Peterson has the same mind set as me then Khan can kiss a rematch away. It's awful to see that he's tried to overturn the decision, total disrespect to Peterson imo.

I'd watch it despite thinking that Prescott is past it. That punch of his could still land Khan in trouble.

I don't see why not, if it takes them 5 months to get the Peterson rematch, (entirely possible) then a 2 month brake in training to take care of a quick money making, time making fight in the UK would help him out,

Would mean a lot to non boxing fans to see him avenge the defeat, which I think he would do by KO, and if he does it in style then there will be a buzz about him again going into a Peterson rematch making that fight worth more on PPV buys.

The question for me isn't whether we want it, but why Khan doesn't. I see Prescott and Peterson as Khan's natural comeback path. I'd run out of battery power before I finished typing the names of boxers who trained their asses off to try and avenge losses.
