I know that's a little pedantic, but I'd be unsure about his inclusion.

I wouldnt know whether to have him in or not - we might as well slot Proska in too, he lived here for years.

I think an objective list would surely have to have Murray above Macklin now, given Murray drew with Sturm and Macklin lost to Sturm (officially).

I don't agree.

Top 3 must be very close now. Burns with a solid win, Khan with a tad controvesial loss and Froch with a lopsided loss albeit against the #1 fighter in the devision. I think a case could be made for any one of the 3 being #1.

I don't consider Burns to be on the same level as Khan or Froch, but it can be argued that he is.

He was a former British champion - I aint sure though if this is still the case as he is now living in the states I believe.

If eligable, then I would like to see him a little higher. Chabah is a decent boxer, good at European level - Ajose handled him with ease.

Getting dominated by Wladimir doesn't make him a bad fighter. Those below him haven't been setting the world alight, so I think having him as low as 14th would be far too low.

Olusegun is a former British champion, so I consider him to be British enough to be in the rankings.

I don't know if Proksa is allowed to fight for the British title, so I don't consider him to be eligible for a place in the rankings.

Bellew did well against Cleverly but he lost and he was not very impressive in his two fights with McKenzie before that.

29th position does seem too low though, hopefully he will fight again soon so I can lift him up the rankings.

The win against Chebah was good, but Olusegun had only had one decent win in the two years before that, which was his win against Colin Lynes in April 2010.

I think Macklin and Murray both did about as well as each other against Sturm, so I don't really think Murray did do better.

Macklin has beaten Asikainen who was ranked in the Ring magazine top 10 at the time, which is easily better than the Gibbs win and very arguably better than the Vera or McEwan wins, especially considering the nature of Macklin's win and Lee's major Struggle with McEwan.

I don't see it that way. I think Macklin's controversial loss to Sturm is enough to keep him above those fighters for now.
