The unhinging of a young mind

Post by Bricks »

I was previously one of Khans biggest supporters.....I defended him when he found himself cast so early on as a role model for british muslims and the mature way he spoke out against terrorism....I defended him when he was a victim of a subtle bigotry and jealousy among many boxing fans in his home land....i defended him when other british fans picked nits about his only fighting blown up ligtweights and not taking on domestic foes.....Khan answered all of those critics.....but this whole Peterson debacle.....has given conclusive proof of the prima donna like excesses he has in hi spresent make up....the same route that destroyed Hamed...the same route that Fraudley went on before he had even amounted to anything.....if Khan had been honest and said I felt i was cheated of a knockdown and I was robbed of two points unncesssarily even tho the last point is very very contentious as Khan was cheating throughout and was warned plenty in advance......if Khan had stuck with that....he would have had his rematch with Peterson 3 months later.......instead he has embarked on the worse case of a lack of class in defeat.....far more excessive than even Marvin Hagler who had a far more legitimate gripe in 1987.....far more than RJJ who after being screwed in the olympics was screwed and lost his unbeaten record against Montell Griffin.........Khan should have just said his piece and come back in the ring and showed he is the better fighter than Peterson....instead he has gone on and one with these conspiracy theories.....if he had kept a cool head he might have unearthed this legitimately disturbing news today of tampering in the judging process....instead the sour grapes charmless fest he went on for a whole month, seemingly made him not see this thing till now, makes todays developments look more of the boy who cried wolf

My proclivities have been consistent throughout.....I felt Khan was robbed of a knockdown but deserved the two points taken off....Once he'd been down this route of crying like a bad loser....once you been to play that game.....u already lost......Amir will learn that in good time....now instead of beating peterson in a rematch...all of that will have been devalued when Pacman makes roadkill of lamont.....its gonna mean either bradley for less turkey...or ortiz or another tougher fighter for less chickenfeed....either way Khan screwed himself.

I blame Asif Valli and Ariza.....this young boy doesnt know his arse from a hole in the ground anymore....its all team khan this......the amir khan show...talking about himself in the third person...the same disease that afflicted Audrey.. ....all about money.....underneath it all Amir is a warrior of the highest order...I read he comes from rajah bloodlines on the indian subcontinent....well he hasnt behaved with the class of a rajah lately..... but he is still young and just has to hope he can ride out this PR disaster

Now he is talking of fighting in Pakistan...a place with no hostory of staging prize fights......the way i look at it Khan seriously needs to put his trust in his father.....get down to basics in his pr again.....khan should try and get peterson back in the ring for his titles asap and do it vegas ffs....keep his name big in america....show the latino market he has the cojones and isnt just another pandejo from over the pond who thinks he can fight....and than go and fight in dubai.....go and be a co star on a chris john bill in Indonesia....make himself a world star in the muslim world like muhammed ali was...have a fight in britain......ride out the next 18 months than get the big boys in the ring

either way i think there is enough in khans argument this time regarding this mysterious fat fuckk mr x ....that the result should be made a no contest and an immediate rematch ordered......it would be unfair to peterson in terms of the payday he deserves for a rematch but hey this is boxing....the red light district of sport

I think that Khan was heavily under the influence of Golden Boy and i think all this is the direct result of them telling Khan what to do and what to say regararding the Peterson loss. I do agree with you Mugabi when you say that his PR management team have lost the plot and to that extent i feel that Khan needs to ditch them quickly and just simply concentrate on fighting. In the end he will be judged by his performances in the ring and no amount of PR statements wil make any difference to that. I have been ssaying for a while now that Khan needs to fight Maidana in a re-match, Alexander, Bradley and then if he is successful, move up to 147lbs and take on Ortiz and Berto. If he gets to this point he can then look at Mayweather. At the end of the day talk is cheap and only looks effective if you can back your mouth up. At the minute Khan isn't in a position to do that at all.

just on this pr thing.....how come Khan doesnt have a decent ring theme entrance yet?....most the top top british stars had one (Eubanks, Naz, Benn etc).... Id suggest

"JUMP" by Van Halen.......it sums up Amir's high energy jumping like a jackrabbit boxing style lately and would be a eubanks-esque anthem......plus the song is so loud it would probably drown out the boos he always gets from some sections of the crowd in england....Amir should start jumping over the ring rope to the song too but do it in a different way to eubanks and naz....yep I got it......since he calls himself King Khan, he could actually have an entourage carry him into the ring on like an elaborate gold throne or something.......the most origional thing would be if Amir could be the first boxer to drive a car to the ring...like alberto del rio in the wwe....that would be something and we know how he loves fast cars..his whole corner could be in the car and they get out at ringside........ I think all of these are things well worth considering especially the car thing....it would only be feasible in the biggest venues tho as a car would take up a lot of room.

Khan believes that a bearded nutter who caused murder and mayhem in the arabian sub-peninsula in the 7th century is the deliverer of god's final word. That is proof enough he is unhinged..... :D

Dont be ignorant and racist reggaereggae and turn my thread into a racist/islamaphobic thread . Anyone who criticises Khan gets called racist and your post makes my thread get lumped into that and stifles any kind of honest debate about Khan. Its offensive and deeply inaccurate as well by the way. Im a self confessed church goer and I dont like blasphemy to others religions just as I dont like it on mine.

Fair enough. Just messing around. I actually think it's actually fair enough of Khan if he suspects there is wrongdoing and gets him in a better position (arematch looks possible.)
