"finished him" . . .yep, nothing to do with the crazy weight fluctuations

Golota was a much different fighter than the bums (not Holyfield, but the others) Newman had fed to Bowe throughout his career . . he wasn't a Seldon, Cooper, Hide, or Gonzales. He was a big, fairly fast guy with skills. It was Bowe's weight dips plus him fighting a puncher who was a live body that resulted in those results.

And I'm someone who thinks given a healthy Evander, he would have a clear 2-1 edge over Bowe in their series . . he was going to KO Bowe in the third fight if he hadn't been so sick and too exahusted to follow up.

I never saw Bowe speak with the same kind of alarming slur in three post-fight interviews against Holyfield as I did after the Golota rematch. It was disturbing, and never previously present.

I never did either, but I never heard Ali slur after fighting Frazier or Norton. And I would say those two contributed more to his condition than Leon Spinks or Larry Holmes. Bowe took a terrible beating from Golota, that isn't in dispute. I just answered the question as honestly as I could. When he was finished fighting Evander three times, he was a shell of the fighter he was when they first met.

Golota was winning both fights, if I'm not mistaken, and was delving a lot of punishment to a faded Riddick Bowe. The wars with Holyfield definitely took their toll on Riddick and the beating Bowe took from Golota probably scrambled his brains even more. That and nothing hurts more than a good shot to the balls, especially when the guy doing it is fricking huge.
