There won't be any predictions this week due to me being away last weekend.

But it will be back next weekend, predictions will be up later today with latest results and tables

I think we should just stop the league for this season and declare a winner, we have all had a good time :TU:

Anyone else notice that the pull-down menu for the rounds in the Audley/Wiggins fight isn't working? You can click on the menu and open it, but it's blank.

Agree :TU:

But first, just to make it seem a little fairer to all concerned, all those outside of the top5 should get awarded 42points  :TU:

Sound interesting. How would a cup tounament work then? Will it be done via the site?

8th baby, hopefully i'll squeeze into the top 5 soon enough.

The current top 64 will be entered into the draw and it will be a knockout competition based on the weekly points in the league

So Steve689 will play the current number 64 in the 1st round

So i'm like the Chelsea of the league at the moment  Just as long as No. 64 isn't Wigan :TU:

Quite enjoying doing the Prediction league.

Must say though, lucky they choose some quite unknown boxers in their matches otherwise with the vast majority of fights in this country being a one horse race we`d all be drawing.

One or two mistakes I made in the beginning, forgot to check what I`d put and left the space untouched so that particular fight was left as 1st rnd KO...did that on the Johnson V Tarver fight

Learnt to double check all boxes now and just outside the top 5 overall, so not bad :TU:

Yeah i think the unknown bouts add a wildcard feel to the predicting, it means we have to take a gamble and guess or try to choose by checking out the fighters records and making a decision that way.

Yeah, these unknown fights whilst almost as predictable do give a touch of the unknown and are total guess work, because even if they have unbeaten records and 99% ko ratio it all depends on the opposition...closer looks often reveal opponents with shocking records and some with even none at all...which can alter the KO3 into a pts12.

Re-looking at my past predictions and mistakes I`d like to think i`d be on the podium at least if I`d re-checked...but I`m sure others have made mistakes like mine also so maybe when I get a good run going again it`ll be enough to make up for the past errors

I wish that I would have jumped on at the beginning...I just found out about the league when I joined, but it's fun and must undoubtably be time consuming so thank you Kevin and whoever else helps for keeping things up.

Noooooooooooooooo!! The Alex Sanchez - Hugo Cazares fight, I predicted that Cazares would win in round 8, and I onyl went and bloody accidently chose Sanchesz to win.

Cazares only goes and bloody wins in 8!

Damn!

Well, i'm in the 2nd round of the cup.

I'm still really cheesed off about the cazares fight though, i really did mean to pick him, but bloody botched it up. Why, oh why did he have to win in that exact round too!? I've slipped to 9th, when I actually should now be 5th!

Ahhh well....

Ooh, I was lucky, had an average week but still got through to the second round.

Yes only 41 predictions and three of them weren't in the top 64 in the league so next round should be more entertaining.

MT Gillick got through even though he didn't predict!

Up one place this week :TU:

Tough call in the cup, be close if past weeks are anything to go by.

Feel happy with this weeks matches so we`ll see how it goes :-?
