Omar Shaick V Leroy Brown
I hear there is a fight booked in for these two very worthy fighters in March 2012. Aussie Title I think? Mansfield Tavern promoter Angelo Decarlo the number one promoter in Qld if not Australia. This should be a cracker, cant wait.

I offered Leroy $2000 to fight Daniel for the NSW title, they said the money wasn't enough, than they said Leroy is a middle weight. I think they just didn't want the fight.colin russell wrote:I hear there is a fight booked in for these two very worthy fighters in March 2012. Aussie Title I think? Yes if heard Leroys team is a bit like that, but I do hope this fight comes off. I under stand the money offered is VERY good.
Re: Omar Shaick V Leroy Brown
Omar ain't really a super middy, albeit he's Oz titleholder. I reckon Leroy & he will step on the scales around 73/74kgs

Yes they are & they talk shit I asked them about how much other promotors paid them in the past. I knew the amount they said was bullshit because I've fought for them promotors, anyway he shouldn't get a Ozzy title shot his not rated in the latest ratings.colin russell wrote:Yes if heard Leroys team is a bit like that, but I do hope this fight comes off. Re: Omar Shaick V Leroy Brown
It's a voluntary defence Mark. Brown has fought at the weight in recent times, which qualifies him. Come March 15, when Shaick's mandatory is due, Daniel (according to current ratings) is his only option. In the event Brown beats Shaick, he'll inherit Shaick's mandatory defence. Therefore, I suggest Daniel fights & beats a competent opponent 'til then to ensure his current position.Mark pawsey wrote:Yes they are & they talk shit I asked them about how much other promotors paid them in the past. Hey Anton you go on about regional titles being crap, the Australian title is the same because there's no way Leeroy is the best fighter that's available who's willing to fight for the title.
Re: Omar Shaick V Leroy Brown
No different to World titles
Re: Omar Shaick V Leroy Brown
Sit tight mate. Mandatory is a better earner than voluntary

I just want to see these two fight.Mark is saying Leroys team wont take the fight im hopeing hes wrong.
Re: Omar Shaick V Leroy Brown
I guess we'll have to wait for Omar/Leroy outcome. Whatever the outcome Daniel is the man to defend against. Nader could possibly be the only glitch, if he ditches his regional title. Can't see any rated above going for it.

Maybe it's time you started negotiating with promoter Di Carlo - Shaick's manager/promoter?Mark pawsey wrote:When was it ever going to happen?colin russell wrote:Oops seams like the Brown camp has pulled out,Bugger.
