It might not the boxing to any great standard, but it would be an entertaining watch that's for sure...

Both guys have high opinions of themselves and poor defences... Could make for great television...

Count me in.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.... even on his worst days he beats Fury blindfolded? Is fury worst than a 38 year old cabbie.

Sure Audley could land a hayemaker can catch Fury lucky.... we've seen Fury down and hurt against smaller guys - but if Rogan can beat Audley, so can Fury.

Had Audley been with Enzo Calzaghe we may have heard "Had the fight gone 12 rounds David Haye wouldn't have fought again, and thats a fact."

From reading his twitter, looks like he may be making a comeback. Won't be against Fury tho I dont think.

Audley is awful and doesn't want to get hit. Fury would smash Fraudley to pieces IMO.

You've got their names mixed up in there somewhere i'll re-edit it for you!

Sure Fury could land a hayemaker can catch Audley lucky.... we've also seen Fury down and hurt against smaller guys - but if mcdermott can beat Fury, so can Audley.

Why should audley get a British title fight? The guy had a world title fight and threw one jab in three rounds and got two million pound for it ! Pathetic , he shoul be banned from boxing on Britain

Hopefully Audley accepts the offer I have made him for 14/4/11 . If he looks good then maybe Fury will give him a look in but Ali Adams is determined to upset the applecart. But at the moment Audleys not signing so we will see.

Good luck with it Steve. Your promotional group does have an innovative fresh feel about it and I hope you do well. I really think you should have a word with your PR guru though, not doing you any favours at all.

This whole Audley obsession you've got going on is silly. Audley is a fraud and should not bother getting in the ring again. I find it hard to take supporters of Harrison seriously at all. Is it because you enjoy Strictly? Surely its not his performances in boxing that gets you excited, is it?

Steve, I am sure you mean 14th April, 2012? not 2011.

Anyway, I hope the BBBoC would be sensible and not sanction a 40+ fighter who hasn't fought in a year, hasn't won in two years straight into a British title fight.... needs a tuneup first surely.

He threw lots of jabs. I think you mean he only 'landed' one jab.

I don't know what hold Audley Harrison has over some people, but after all his failure & embarrassment in the ring, I am flabbergasted that there is anyone outside of the Harrison household that would want to see him fight ANYBODY (I'm not even 100% that any of his family would want to see him fight TBH). :oo

Whats he done thats so embarrassing? he won prize fighter, won the EBU, the WBF, pasted danny williams, sparked sprott after fighting almost the whole fight wih one arm, won a gold medal, and took a world title fight.

He may not have set the boxing world on fire but the talk about him being a discrace to the sport is drastically exaggerated.

Audley landed a jab against Haye? When?

Anyway, this topic is ridiculous. I'm not even sure Audley will even fight again. Even when he was in his prime (whenever that was) he wasn't interested, why would a fat post-Strictly 40 year old Audley have any hunger left for boxing?

Audley landed a jab in the 2nd round. He threw about 12 punches as far as I remember.

I agree with you, though, his talent was unquestionable but he never truly dedicated himself as a pro. Getting a £2m contract and ludicrous media attention before your first fight will often have that effect.

Talented ATHLETE yes.... I bet he looks a million dollars on the heavy back.... but talent in other aspects of boxing, things that are in born.... like bottle, mindset, reaction to taking punches (psychologically), being poker faced etc..... Never had that, and never will have it.... essential to a boxer that.

It doesn't matter if he lives like a monk and trains like Rocky Balboa (after his heart to heart chats with Adrian) for 365 days a year..... if he aint got the in born mindset - it aint happening. That is what seperates boxers/fighters from athletes.

I know I will expect a response from someone regarding the Michael Sprott fight - but the fact he hardly disguised a sore shoulder sort of highlights the point.
