CAN ROBERT WIGGINS RUIN AUDLEYS BIG PLANS?
Dunno how many of you guys have seen Wiggins fight but i have (gave Monte Barrett a close scrap lost a dubious decision) and i have to admit he is a tough bastard.
Kind of looks and fights like a more lively Jesse Ferguson. Hits hard and keeps coming, with big left hooks. I think Audley will have to actually work hard to win this fight plus he might have to get hit hard for once.
Wiggins has scored several kayo upsets and gone the distance with some good punchers, IMO this is the most live body Audley has faced and if he is legit he has to win this one easily.
If Audley really does have a glass chin or lacks heart for a real fight he will get beaten up by this fella.

Never seen him fight but what I`ve seen of his record and whats been written about him he seems typical of almost all Audleys opponents in the way of him being a small heavyweight by todays standards.
He has put on alot of weight of recent to make it look closer, but his average weight prior was much less.
I hope your right in this being a real test, its about time.
Be interesting to see how Audley reacts if this fella can punch and can hurt him, I`d pick a win by decision for Audley.

Let's see Audley in with Derek Bryant. Having seen his last two fights I think 'The One Man Riot' may beat him if it's a 10 rounder. He gave Malcolm Tann a rude awakening and took Clay Bey to hell and back. Despite being 34 he comes at you like a hell cart and will take you to places you've never been before (wouldn't this be interesting with Audley?).
Ahh, but Robert Wiggins - a typical fat plodding banger - has just had a PR friendly win and has been in good form the past couple years. In only his third last fight he actually beat Derek Bryant by 8 round decision (anyone seen it, was it legit?). Wonder who the first man to beat Wiggins was? What weight (i.e. how fit) was Wiggins for the fight and did he get stopped?
Talk about getting the timing right... The A-Train seems to pick a route better than multimap.com

I interviewed Robert last week from the Casey Gym.
Look out for the interview on thesweetscience.com later today.
Good guy with a decent record and has broken some unbeaten runs before, done the distance with Barrett and Williamsona nd been more than competitive. I believe he broke to DaVarryl's jaw and lost a split d to Barrett.
Claims he needs a big name to motivate him and he's known about Harrison for almost a month....I think he fancies it but its hard to tell on the phone.

Much like your hype for anyone German or German based! ;)BubiScholz wrote:let´s pray for it. the actual Harrison-hype goes too far.overhand_right wrote:Dunno how many of you guys have seen Wiggins fight but i have (gave Monte Barrett a close scrap lost a dubious decision) and i have to admit he is a tough bastard.

I admit I haven't seen Wiggins fight, but everybody who has says virtually the same as yourself. Wiggins is a tough fight for anybody (hes pushed Williamson and Barrett close and hes beat Audleys training partner Bryant). This fight will answer more questions about Audley, hopefully they'll be the answers I wantoverhand_right wrote:Dunno how many of you guys have seen Wiggins fight but i have (gave Monte Barrett a close scrap lost a dubious decision) and i have to admit he is a tough bastard.

Bullshit. Too talk good about guys like Luan who already reached something in professional boxing is a whole different ballgame, my friend.nickd wrote:Much like your hype for anyone German or German based! ;)BubiScholz wrote:overhand_right wrote:Dunno how many of you guys have seen Wiggins fight but i have (gave Monte Barrett a close scrap lost a dubious decision) and i have to admit he is a tough bastard.

Not him in particular but you do blow the trumpet for any German who can lace on a pair of gloves. Likewise a lot of Brits root for Harrison, its no different.BubiScholz wrote:Bullshit. could only be Abraham, Sam or Sturm, bur they are min. 1 class above Harrison and I don´t hype them. Mentioning them is forbidden?......I would never hype a guy who hasn´t reached anything like Harrisonnickd wrote:Not him in particular but you do blow the trumpet for any German who can lace on a pair of gloves. Oddly Enough!
No, I seriously doubt he can. I give it Harrison either by W10, or by a late round TKO.

bubi get a grip mate , no one has been hyping harrison for ages now.BubiScholz wrote:let´s pray for it. the actual Harrison-hype goes too far.overhand_right wrote:Dunno how many of you guys have seen Wiggins fight but i have (gave Monte Barrett a close scrap lost a dubious decision) and i have to admit he is a tough bastard.

people hope he can turn it on, but even the most ardent fans of big Aud like chambers has toned it down. Theres nothing wrong in hoping. THats not the same as hyping.
if you dont liek the fact we might like to discuss audley when he has a fight coming up then stay the fornicate out the thread.

How can Bubi possibly say Audley is over hyped

AUDLEY IS GOING TO RULE THE WORLD!!!!!J wrote: but even the most ardent fans of big Aud like chambers has toned it down.

Wiggins has a lot of heart and packs a good punch but he throws WIDE shots and they'll be even wider against the taller Audley. Harrison should be able to counter him fairly easily and as Wiggins is fat he'll tire out and Harrison will probably get a late stoppage. If Robert lands clean though Audley could be in trouble . ..

I'd like to throw some water over my earlier post, because it sounds too harsh (I actually like Audley).
But there is two things I want to see in a Harrison fight: 1) what happens when adversity strikes (i.e. a bomb lands; he gets decked) 2) what happens when someone makes him work 3 minutes of every round, for at least 10 rounds.
That's all - don't even care who brings it.
For the record, Audley weighed in at 249, Wiggins 220.
