Munroe stays at Super Bantam

Post by Shambles »

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but it seems that Rendall and his team have decided that it's best for him to remain at super bantam. The reason being that he is being avoided by the big names at bantam.

I personally think that the move to bantam was a bad one based on the fact that Rendall is already huge at SB. He now has a non title fight coming up but who do you think he should go for after and how do you think he would fare against the top boys in the division?

He should go after anything. It has been over 2 years since he held a title.

I'm not buying that about being unable to attract big names, the guy is a huge super-bantam who previous campaigned at feather, I always doubted he could make bantam, I reckon he had a go but it proved impossible. Stepping back up to feather would be a better move IMO.

Ren looked very flat against that japanese opponent in his last fight.

He's becoming the forgotten man of boxing for sure. Very nice fella he is, I hope he pulls it back.

Shame Rendall vs Booth never happened, great trade fight.

I hope this means Murnoe v Quigg can get made. Great crossroads fight and a good test of where Quigg is. I'd back him to win, but there'd be no shame in a defeat at this stage to someone as seasonsed as Rendall.
