I AM A LIGHTHEAVYWEIGHT AND I WAS WONDERING WHY THERE IS GUYS WITH TERRIBLE ASS RECORDS SO MUCH HIGHER THAN ME. MOST OF THEM HAVENT EVEN FOUGHT ANYONE LET ALONE BEAT ANYONE. THERE IS A GUY THAT IS 1-2 THAT IS JUST A COUPLE BEHIND ME AND HIS TWO LOSSES CAME AGAINST ME. SO SOMETHING CANT BE RIGHT. ANOTHER GUY I FOUGHT TO A DRAW IS 9-2 BUT HE IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO US.

Actually it does. You beat someone twice with a record of 1-2. Quality of opponent. If you beat people with better records, especially with more fights, then you'd have a better rating. As is, your level up compitition hasn't helped you rating.

Getting to 50-0 and beating 50 guys who have no wins does little for you. Go 25-3 and beat a handful of decent guys, you'll have a higher rating.

i still think some of the rankings are garbage. like you said about losing too quality opposition. i guess being a terrible fornicating journeymen is better than an up and coming prospect fighting mediocre competition. just for me look at some of the lightheavyweights in the top 50 of the u.s. and tell me some of those bums with a bunch of losses deserve to be there.

Look at the combined records of your opponents. You've fought 4 people with a winning record. You are 1-2-1. Everyone else had a horrible record. The computer doesn't give you a lot of points for beating such low quality opponents. Your next opponent is ranked 130ish spots below you, don't excpet to shoot up in the rankings.

I really doubt Mike Wood would speak this way, but if I'm wrong (I'm wrong). Mike Wood is a heck of a Light Heavyweight though, and is fighting for the Midwest version of the NABC Light Heavyweight Title on 9/8/05 at The Family Arena in St. Charles. Hopefully this will boost his record as well.

Yeah I'm just making the assumption its him. His record is the same and he has 2 wins vs. a guy who is 1-2 with both loses to the original poster.

I saw that after I read your post. If it is him making all this ruckus then I just would be surprised is all. I don't know Mike very well, but from what little I know about him he is a pretty genuine guy, and not one for making loud, rude, obnoxious waves.
