Just as prizefighter was getting a bit stale they've brought in the most even and I think probably best line-up. Not sure who'll win it but hope Tyrone Nurse does. Does anyone know who the reserves are?

I know jerome wilson is a reserve, and an unbeaten fighter too not sure who sorry. I think it's quite even mate as far as records, experience and prospects go. I'm rooting for John Watson myself :TU:

Why would I be biased ? I don't really know him you twit, Matched safe ? Tyrone as been accused of that . Anwar has beat some good guys. You don't know much mate, your head is confused. Anwar won the English Title at welter by Ko against an unbeaten fighter and beat another good prospect by KO away from home.

Cant see Tyrone Nurse going far in this... has only fought 3 positive record opponents in his 20 fight career, the best he came up against was Damian Owen (10-4) which he made very hard work of, he got the usual home decision as you do.

His last opponent (little dragon) was hard done by not getting a few of them rounds, and getting deducted for a non-knockdown, Tyrone made hard work of that little journeyman as well.

Too easy to hit.

John Watson or Barry Morrison takes this.

imo

His dad is his trainer, or do you mean as one of the fighters.

His dad is his trainer, safeerah.

It is a good line up - just it is a tired format now. In some ways that good line up prizefighters are more frustrating than the poorer ones - because we don't really how the fights would pan out in a "proper" contest.

For example, Choi vs Matthews 2.

I would rather see these all fighting in 8 rounders.

Bring on the journeyman prizefighter.

Dale Miles.

He knocked out a guy who'd gone the distance with Olusegan, Daws etc.

Yeh thats what I meant, but also he spars his son sometimes, so it was off the cuff. I know what you mean lesser fighters really go for it, were as better fighters box more and play a chess game. Choi will always be good value for money.

Watched him last time was not that good technically, but boy can he bang, well capable of knocking any of these guys out if he lands right, the question is will he get out boxed and out thought.

Tyrone has the best defence in the field, Watson might prefer shorter distances, is morrison well past his best ?

Decent event this one, tough to call an outright favourite.

Think the four to beat would be Miles,Anwar,Watson and Nurse, interestingly Morrison at his best would win it but he has not been at his best for a while now and its
a big ask to come back and win three fights in a night but he has the skills and power if he has got the desire back. Struggle to see Mutley,Lloyd or Harrison winning 3 fights although each of them capable of one big performance so no one is really guaranteed an easy run no matter who they draw.

Miles and Anwar joint favs for me around the 3/1 mark would be my guess.

I class Adil and Tyrone as mates of mine but to be honest I'm picking Miles. I've even told Tyrone so much.
