Anyone got the result of this tonight?
Re: Gary McArthur vs Stuart Green
Doubt they'll have boxed yet. First fight is usually in the ring around ten.

Yessss!!! Great result, do you know the score? Hopefully gilmour can get him a decent fight because he deserves it after the run he's been on. Hopefully gilmour can put on a non dinner shows as I know stuarts friends and family would love to see him fight againmexican roadsweeper wrote:Green won on points

Morrison won 40-36 aginst Daniel Micallef, McElhinney was outpointed by an Eastern European over 6x2's. Green score was 99-92.

Bit of a shocker McElhinney being outpointed by an Eastern European debutant.

I've boxed green twice now, first one was v close but by the second fight he really had improved. Good lad too. Well done green
Re: Gary McArthur vs Stuart Green
Well done to Stuart. McArthur hasn't half went down hill recently I remember thinking he'd go quite far when he first turned over.

When your minds made up, then! Its not. It would, if i realy wanted it, then it would kill. If it pays the bills, then its a win win

You sound like someone whose trying very hard to convince themselves... Good luck Gary hope the finances sort themselves out, your still young enough to have a good crack at it. I've been where you are now and once the money's gone- if the prides gone too you feel worthless. Maybe that's just me.Champ1982 wrote:hoop wrote:Well done to Stuart. Mesage to Gary McArthur . I've seen almost all your fights . You're a good defensive boxer and you certainly know what you're doing in the ring . Its up to you if you want to continue - but I'll say one thing for what its worth . You can't punch . I know being a hard puncher is usually ' in -bred ' that is , it comes naturally . But you can improve on your power . You have to look at your timing and a bit of strength training - that's all that's missing . But , when your opponents know they can walk all over you without being damaged it becomes difficult . Give it a go ,lad .
