Chris Eubank Jnr - next fight

Post by fightscorecollector »

Should this guy have been out fighting his 2nd pro fight by now as his debut was in the first third of november.

2 months and counting is a long time for a young guy to be sitting on the sidelines

i thought he should have been out again before xmas and in 2012 have around 6-8 fights.

He should be fighting every couple of months, like Amir Khan was at the start of his career.

I guess it depends when Fury will be fighting next as he'll be on the undercard, he should have been out again by now though it's not good for a talent like him to be waiting months for his next fight.

He should be, you're all right about that, but his promotor doesn't exactly put on many bills any more. Perhaps MH needs to reach out to Matchroom etc and see if they would put some of his fighters on, just to keep them busy.

Agreed. being on channel 5 is holding him back.

Or is it his promotor.

I think this is a combo of his promoter and personal preference of being on Channel 5. In a way, boxing needs a British fighter who's got a cool story and is familiar with the public. The thing is, this is going to counter balance and he'll end up a shit inexperienced fighter and fall short when it really matters.

Really hope he starts fighting more often.
