Jennings vs Pryce in October.

Also confirmed is Moore vs Walker and Dann vs Elcock.

Purse bids called for Nicky Cook vs John Simpson. Glad to see Simpson is the mandatory, shame he is fighting a more accomplished fighter in Cook.

English titles

Purse bids called for Donovon Smillie vs Patrick Maxwell - I am sure this has been called for before, seems no promoter is interested in this fight.

Ryan Kerr vs Dean Cockburn has also been called (should be good)

Another very interesting English title fight is Ross Minter vs Matthew Hatton - excellent fight this one, tough to call and could be a cracker.

European Level
Sprott vs Vidoz - 1st October.
Michael Hunter is Esham Pickering's mandatory and it will go to purse bids.

Some interesting European bouts.
Francis Barrett has a tough mandatory defence of his EU title vs former two time EBU champion Salvatore Battaglia.

Scotlands Ricky Burns and Italy's Alessandro Di Meco fight for the vacant EU Super Featherweight title. A good fight for the Scot (provided they win purse bids) a toughish match, but I think he will be favourite with home soil advantage - Di Meco loses everytime he steps up and is the naturally smaller man.

Interestingly, BBN state that although purse bids have been invited for the mandatory defence of Domenico Urbano's EU title vs Dazzo Williams. However, quite surprisingly (nothing been formally reported) BBN understand that Williams is retiring. An odd decision as I thought he could have come back from the Cook setback.

Finally - Elvis Michilenko makes a mandatory defence of his EU title vs Antionio Brancalion in Vienna on 25th October

I can't see Jennings v Pryce being much of a match, Jennings should win this inside 5 rounds.
Moore v Walker will be interesting for the first few rounds, Moore has shown in his last couple of fights that he can be hit and hurt, so Walker will have a chance. Unfortunatly for Walker he can be hurt badly as well, I'd have to go with Moore for this one.

Dann v Elcock is an excellent match, on current form you'd have to pick Dann as he's been impressive in his last couple of fights, but Elcock is a dangerous fighter who is far from finished.

I like the look of the Matthew Hatton v Ross Minter fight as well, differcult one to pick, i'd make Minter a slight favourite in what should be a cracking fight.

Sprott v Vidoz is another interesting one, if he can keep Vidoz at the end of his Boxing Sprott has a chance to win, but i think Vidoz after winning the title might start taking his career more seriously and overpower Sprott for a late round stoppage.

Looks hard for Barrett, the fight I am most intrigued by though is Ricky Burn's EU title challenge a really hard one to pick - he needs home advantages.

Jennings TKO 3, though will be interesting if Pryce manages to unsettle him early - might make it a longer night.

Moore mid rounds KO. Too much for Walker right now.

Dann TKO 8 - inactivity and a one round KO will do Elcock no favours in this fight.

Hatton - Minter is one to look forward too. One will be exposed I feel...

Not sure about Sprott - Vidoz, have hardly been interested in the heavyweight scene in recent times.

I favour Jennings to win but feel that Pryce will test him along the way and might, just might, surprise him. A lot depends on which Bradley Pryce turns up.

dann will spark elcock. better keep that second rope strand slack i think.

i fancy hatton to win a close one on his boxing skills.

vidoz to beat sprott either on points or by late stoppage.

he has beaten some decent oposition in john humphrey and paul dyer, and also held the southern area title , so the automatic next step up is to fight for the british title, which i believe he deserves the shot at. dave has a good dig and a big heart and moore has been on the floor a few times recently so i defently believe that walker stands a chance.
