Wladimir K v Riddick Bowe.
After both fighters start out slow, Bowe quickly realizes Wladimir does not take his punches well and steps on the gas. He floors him twice in the second. Wlad runs for his life in the third, but Big Daddy finishes the show in the fourth. Bowe by TKO 4.

Milton McRory (title run era, before the loss) vs Victor Ortiz (Berto fight)

McCrory busts em up en route 6th rd tko.

"Jerry Quarry vs Oscar Bonevena" Duke it out right after they're respective 1970 losses to Ali. 15 Rounds.

This one is an utter blood bath in my eyes. Both men with balls of steel and chins to go with it. Bbut I expect with Bonavana' superior power he ends cutting and marking up Quarry pretty badly who keeps on coming forward attacking Bonavena's body as Bonvaena goes head hunting, The cuts and broken nose leaves Quarry with a mask of claret for a face but he gamely carries only to be stopped in the later rounds because of all the blood.

Any takers on

I'm going to stick my neck out and say Katsidis on points. I know its a bit of a cliche but I don't see either man getting stopped, too much pride more than anything else. I just think that Katsidis is that little bit tidier when he has to be, little bit faster with his hands, and I think that shows up over the distance.

Archie Starches Roy in the 6th round. After looking a bit shakey under Roy's assault, he assesses and calibrates himself for Roy's unusual rhythym and gets the Job Done. He wasn't called the mongoose for nothin'.

Joe Frazier comes out to face Jumbo Cummings for the final fight of his career, but inexplicably Jumbo is gone, and aliens transport a Prime Butterbean into the ring to replace Mr Cummings.

What happens on this night?

Call me crazy but i could actually see this one being good for a couple of rounds.

I see Frazier getting em in the 3rd round.

Chavez body attack was to brutal and he secures a late round stoppage.

this would be a good thread. i think ward would be able to damage the body enough and definitely keep himself in the fight.
I agree. That match deserved more than just 'Berto UD'.
Apologies to Detroit, I was so proud to have come up with an original match-up that I totally disregarded the previous.

Greb Vs Hagler

Greb vs Hagler. Great showdown. I'm gonna say Greb by Decision. Great fight,Greb takes everything Hagler has and outworks em nearly every round. That nonstop whirlwind style is like a busier and stronger version of Anterfermo from the 1st fight with Hagler. 8)

I honestly think Ricky is a cut above, and I'm not a Hatton rumpswab by any means. I like Ward a lot and think he gets outpointed in a good scrap.

Here's one.

I say Cobb by Decisive UD. Overwhelms and withstands whatever onslaught from Renaldo. R. Snipes just simply wasnt good enough a boxer. Ever see his bs decision win over Coetzee ? Snipes wasnt a huge puncher either obviously, not really good enough at anything to overwhelm the Big Tough Country Boy Tex Cobb.

Tszyu was a smart boxer whose timing and intelligence were too often overshadowed by his punch, but he'd be made to look a whole lot dumber than he was here.

Locche was simply on another plane. He wins a UD.

I automatically thought Hearns wide dec due to Gavilans chin...but Hearns had the power to dent the undentible. Gavilan will be there to be hit and does not have Leonards power to keep Hearns on his heels. Hearns mid rounds tko.

Lets stick with Gavilan...

Gavilan by close decision,whether its a 12 or a 15 rd'er. Very good fight,lots of punches thrown,lots of movement. Two extroadinary busy boxer styles. Gavilan lands slightly more. In a 15 rd'er,likely 145-143 type decision,in a 12 rd'er,115-114.
