These are at the semi-final stage with matches next weekend.Already there has been a major surprise with European Champion Ray Moylette losing to unheralded teenager Martin Wall.Egan and Ward are due to meet in Saturdays light heavy final as are Michael Conlan and Chris Phelan at Fly.Lightweight has the best four boxers in the semis and looks tasty.
Disappointed not to see Ryan Burnett start,he promised much at Youth level.

Yeah, Ryan has turned pro with Hatton.
Moylett just two weeks back sparring after November surgery.

I guess it is understandable for Ryan to turn pro with Conlan already qualified for London 2012 but I would have liked him to stay on seeing how well all the other lightflys at the World Youths have done,Alizada etc.

Stay am as the high performance guys do well, that and WSB and promotional work will see Kenny ok.
Both Joyces(cousins!) were close, JJJ in particular.

There is a chance the IABA will hold box-offs before the European Olympic qualifier,presumably they will not write off Moylett.
