Was Stan Cullis the Light Heavyweight, the son of the England Football International of the same name ?

The only Stan Cullis i know of was the former manager of Wolves

My season ticket is in the Stan Cullis stand 8)

The boxer Stan Cullis was from Bristol, and fought as a Light Heavy in the late 50s and through the 60s. Good enough to fight for British title but nowhere good enough to win it (lost to Chic Calderwood by KO). Career fizzled out after that. I remember him as a solid enough fighter who lacked that extra "something"

The footballer played for Wolves and later managed them.

John
