George Chuvalo vs Randy 'Tex' Cobb........

Post by silkov »

Who would win this battle of the iron men?. I lean towards Chuvalo who had the better power and was better technically. This would be a real war with Chuvalo winning a close decision..... opinions anyone?.... :box:

Great imagination for this bout Silk :TU:

I think they are both strong hard men but Chuvalo was a superior boxer for my money. He beats Cobb by a wide UD

I agree that Chuvalo would probably win but don't see it as an easy fight for him. Cobb tends to be underrated... he was tough as nails and gave Dokes, Norton and Shavers very tough bouts. I think it would be a pretty close bout.

I really Like Chuvalo in this match up. But this would be one painful exchange.

George Chuvalo had a better Jab, better power and a much better bodypuncher. Tex Cobb was one tough dude but the former kickboxer and toughman Champion wasn't as skilled and Chuvola.

Chuvola WPTS 15 in a tough but clear fight.

Lots of bloodshed. The fight could get stopped on cuts. Put Cobb in BoxBuzz's time machine, though, and send him back to about 1967 and perhaps these two swell each other up pretty nicely ...

But Chuvalo wins !!
