Tony i wouldnt listen to half of these comments they jus like gettin a reaction out of ya, Your a class act and a good boxer. Boxers are bound to say shit in interviews its called building a fight, your not goin to get interviewd and basically big up the opponent saying how much you like him and how good he is, In Mcintosh's case he's said enough crap about tony in past interviews so its give n take innit. If Tony didnt post on here i dont think this would have even been talked about.

I neither agree nor defend the fact that Bellew called macintosh a coward as I dont think anyone who steps through the ropes is a coward however if there is someone that is in a place to say whether a boxer is a coward then only another boxer has the right if any!!! We all put a lot on the line every time we enter the ring and none of us are cowards as this is the case for all of us. Some may say that others have it harder and some not so but we all put our health and pride on the line every fight. Some fighters like to call names some like to make predictions some like to be derogatory to their opponents all of this goes towards making our spider more exciting so I like it when boxers step up and put even more on the line by saying the opponent is this or that as they are setting themselves up for a fall its what makes the difference between a champ and someone that does ok. I personally haven't had the chance to say things about other opponents but I can assure you I will be heard when I do lol. Not sure of it wins you support but it definitely gets you noticed and after all thats what most of us fighters want.
Anyway like I said I neither agree or totally disagree with statement made and what we have to remember is that things get taken out of context and sometimes dont come across as they were meant. We all know tony likes to talk but he has something to back it up with and certainly puts himself up front. I am looking forward to this fight as I like both fighters and it'll be good to see 2 good fighters in the ring together!!!

Winding him up to try and get McIntosh to come out swining so he can use the tactics he used against Ovill, clever move.

Possibly or maybe the opposite that Tony is looking at both their records and seeing Danny beating far better opposition in less fights...

I don't think anyone who gets in the ring is a 'coward' but certainly adds more spice to this match for me and maybe having neutrals cheering for Danny.

I imagine that Tony Bellew recognises that very few cowards choose to box; either amateur or professionally.

I think he's trying to upset McIntosh and reinforce the idea that the bout is 'personal'.

No way are either McIntosh or Bellew cowardly.

Hope more tickets get sold on the back of it and that it's a good fight (and on TV).

True, but if people generally dont see eye to eye i dont see the problem, It may not be some peoples cup of tea but i like it. Look at Barrera and morales sure one of them swung a punch at the stare down in one of their fights. i know its differnt context but my only problem with this is that boxers say worse things everyday but seems anything tony does gets stuck under the microscope becasue he posts on here.

Neither of them seem bad lads and it should be a good bout. Bellew does have the pedigree though; I'm not sure McIntosh is a soft as Tony thinks.

On the other hand, Bellew has had the benefit of being a full-time amateur on funding, and moving to being a full-time pro who knows who he will be fighting and when, and being "well managed" (before Cleverley, the best he had faced was McKenzie).

I am not saying that one route is preferable / easier than the other, but for one boxer to call an opponent a coward is out of order (particularly when the opponent has had to get where they are "the hard way").

Let me tell you something! Do you have any idea how hard I worked to get on that funding! You obviously think that they just give ABA titles away? Don't make out that McIntosh has worked harder than me! He never has and never will! I've earned everything single thing ive had from boxing and have never been found wanting when things get tough! Unlike Danny! I've given people what they wanna see as soon as they asked when I went back in with McKenzie! Ok the display was different but I went back in straight away when you all moaned he shouldn't have been stopped!

Don't ever make out that I don't deserve what I've got! Let me tell you, I work myself to a standstill and will never give up no matter how hard it gets! Can the same be said for others? NO!
