Carl Frampton - Scott Quigg power balance
In the Carl Frampton - Scott Quigg power balance, has the momentum swung in Frampton's favour now?

No. Quigg beats Frampton quite easily. Too fast for him and he hits hard enough to bust up Frampton. Not impressed by CF.
Re: Carl Frampton - Scott Quigg power balance
liked what i seen last night but the badger made him look awesome wasn t in his league roll on the frampton v quigg would like to see him frampton with monroe . . monroe hits harder than the badger and could stop in him his tracks ill still take quigg to beat him

I think just now Quigg beats him pretty easily. Hughes was brave but very limited he hardly landed a telling punch. The Quiggs and Kikos of the boxing world will not perform so tamely.
Re: Carl Frampton - Scott Quigg power balance
Hughes wasn't in his league.
I thought Quigg's performance against Booth (a proper fighter) could only be emulated by Frampton fighting Rendall and standing him on his head like Quigg did with Booth.

quigg all day long for me cracking fighter and real pro the lad is
Re: Carl Frampton - Scott Quigg power balance
I forgot to add, Frampton is a great fighter.
A bit like Price & Fury, it's a nice problem to think "who will win."
Let's hope it happens early 2013.

Where does Kid Galahad step into the mix if he beats Booth next month?

I doubt it will make any difference. Frampton or Quigg would blow Barry away!Wake up call wrote:Where does Kid Galahad step into the mix if he beats Booth next month?

I believe both frampton and quigg can go along way, but I don't think fury will get past British level.G0mez wrote:I forgot to add, Frampton is a great fighter.

Re: Carl Frampton - Scott Quigg power balance
Barry has some nice skills but I wouldn't bracket him with Frampton or Quigg at the moment. Even if he does beat Booth handily. Might be interesting in a couple of years time - what a good division it potentially is...imagine if Jamie McDonnell stepped up too?Wake up call wrote:Where does Kid Galahad step into the mix if he beats Booth next month?
Re: Carl Frampton - Scott Quigg power balance
were does he come into it let me see he stop s a journey man now down to fight booth does that put him right up there in the mix fxck me frampton quigg r champion s he shouldn t even put his name with there sWake up call wrote:Where does Kid Galahad step into the mix if he beats Booth next month?
Re: Carl Frampton - Scott Quigg power balance
Think it thru - if (not saying he will, but 'if) Barry does a better job on Booth than Quigg did IN HIS LAST FIGHT then I think the comparisons between Quigg and Barry are pretty obvious, to be honest. I agree with McNeilly - this is potentially THE hot domestic division, especially if you add in McDonnell and Munroe.tear up wrote:were does he come into it let me see he stop s a journey man now down to fight booth does that put him right up there in the mix fxck me frampton quigg r champion s he shouldn t even put his name with there sWake up call wrote:Where does Kid Galahad step into the mix if he beats Booth next month?
'. Fancying a comeback mate?
Re: Carl Frampton - Scott Quigg power balance
I wonder if Bernard Dunne could be tempted back for a fight and big payday against Frampton? It would be HUGE in Ireland.
Surely it could be shown on RTE over there and Sky here? I'd love to see it if Dunne could get in shape and maybe have an eight-rounder as a bit of a tune up first. He's still young enough to do it if he wanted to.

Re: Carl Frampton - Scott Quigg power balance
booth shouldnt be boxing hes finished,i saw him getting smashed in sparring before the quigg fight.the people around jason should sit him down and tell him its over.galahad is over rated ,its a bit like satchell v power.neither satchell or galahad would of got near power or booth in their primes, its not nice to see and leaves a bad taste.Wake up call wrote:Where does Kid Galahad step into the mix if he beats Booth next month?

I wonder if the universal Quigg infatuation is beginning to crumble yet?

much more likely aye. Willie has joined a small new promoter is the north so I could see this as a first defence of the EBU title should Carlito get a mitts on it.leforge wrote:Willey Casey v Frampton could that not be made?
