PRIZEFIGHTER
I think we"re in store for a decent prizefighter this weekend.theres no novices in the lineup and it seems adil anwar is fancying his chances.i wonder if dale miles can produce in higher standard of opponent.
any idea on which weight the next prizefighter will be fought at? the heavyweight have a few prospects coming through.possible line-up :- larry olubamiwo, richard towers, colman barrett, gary cornish, dillian whyte, dorian darch, tom little, ian lewison.

Re: PRIZEFIGHTER
About upcomin Prizefighter on dis week - my choice are Miles, Anwar, Nurse and mb Mutley can bring a surprise.
Re: PRIZEFIGHTER
Good competitive event on paper this one, Anwar for me but I can't believe they are all going to make the weight without problems, there are a good few of them
fighting regularly at Welterweight and whilst I know this will be a couple of pounds over the Light-Welter limit or I assume it will be surely 142lbs will be a push
for some of them.
Hopefully they all stand there ground.

Below prices from Skybet
Prizefighter Outright
TopSaturday 11th February 2012
Adil Anwar 7/2
Dale Miles 7/2
Barry Morrison 5/1
Tyrone Nurse 6/1
John Watson 6/1
Young Mutley 7/1
Mark Lloyd 10/1
Dean Harrison 14/1
Either Reserve Fighter (on the night) 25/1
Well priced, in my view, think Watson maybe a fraction big and fancy Anwar personally but tough to call.

Draw is on the night in the ring I believe, they changed to that format a couple of events ago so unless they change back it will be on the night just before the fightAlexey Uralets wrote:Thanks for da info about prices. Do you know when the draw should be?GLOBALBOX wrote:Below prices from Skybet

Re: PRIZEFIGHTER
I boxed 4 of these boys. & I have to say I was massively impressed with Watson & rated him 1 of the best I faced. Tho over a 3 round distance nurse has got to b in with a shout. Anwar was massive at lightwelter & has a shout too! Harrison? More chance of me winning. Sorry dean but these boys are better. All round great tourney, really looking forward to it
Re: PRIZEFIGHTER
13/2 John Watson with skybet sounds good to me, hes ready and loved his camp in Olivers gym!!

Cheering for Mutley (and, to a slightly lesser extent, Harrison), but picking Watson.

Re: PRIZEFIGHTER
Same here, although will be cheering for Harrison to more of an extent than Mutley (Wolves over albion lol) but cant see any of the midlands lads winning it.Russ L wrote:Cheering for Mutley (and, to a slightly lesser extent, Harrison), but picking Watson.
Re: PRIZEFIGHTER
Have backed Watson at 7s with Skybet, its too big for me now (gone out from 5s) Anwar will take some beating if on top form but
Watson has mixed at a good level albeit beaten at that level I thought he performed ok and was always struggling with the weight to be fair.
This weight should suit him and think he is the value

Re: PRIZEFIGHTER
brilliant little boxer, just lacks any power. That said he could easily box his way to the trophyAlexey Uralets wrote:Johnny, what can you say about young Tyrone Nurse?johnnygreaves wrote:I boxed 4 of these boys. & I have to say I was massively impressed with Watson & rated him 1 of the best I faced. Re: PRIZEFIGHTER
john watson will win this imo, ive sparred loads of rounds with john and when hes up at around 147 (which he will be around fight night) and not had to kill himself to make weight hes a different fighter, making lightweight killed him and when i sparred him when he was right down or near lightweight you could tell a huge difference, these extera few pounds will really help john and i make hima strong favourite

Re: PRIZEFIGHTER
Just a question: dont you think guys that Watson a lil bit slowstarter and his chin is not brilliant.
For example i can't imagine what will happen if draw will cross Watson with Miles in a quarterfinals ......
