Why is Fury questioned here instead of Price?

Let's compare the fighters. They both turned pro within a few months of each other. Fury is five years younger than Price and has had 6 more fights. Fury fought John McDermott in his eight fight at the age of 21 years of age. He has taken four boxer's undefeated records, one of whom just convincingly beat the European champion.

I agree with the general point of your first paragraph, but your last sentence is laughable; Price is infinitely better than Bellshaw. Also, based on Fury's last couple of performances I'd question if he's progressed in the past year or so.

Fury has fought good opposition for a fighter at this stage of their career, so don't act like he has been fighting bums, because he hasn't.

We may never see this fight because Fury will probably get beat by someone else first. When that happens though, he would then be interested in a Price fight- but obviously it won't have the same appeal.

Agreed, granted there may be a few Price fans getting ahead of themselves, but they're not deluded like anyone would be rating Fuy so highly, he has so many flaws it's untrue... Euro level will be a big push for Fury.

Fury has bigger fish to fry Funso. In terms of progress, he's miles ahead of Price. Why should he not fight for the Euro title and take a fight with Price, which would be a standing still fight, not moving forward.
